Facebook has made significant progress in integrating chat systems into Instagram and Messenger.
Technology site of the Org’s report said Friday night iOS and Android devices in a pop-up screen appears on the Instagram mobile app updates.
The screen read, “This is a new source of messages on Instagram with features including a new colorful chat style, more emoji reactions, swipe to reply and chat with friends using Facebook.”
Once you click on the update, the direct message icon on the top right of Instagram changes to the Facebook Messenger logo.
Similarly, chats on Instagram will be more colorful than before as people’s messages will appear in blue and purple during scrolling.
However, it is not currently possible to send messages to Facebook users on Instagram.
Keep in mind that Facebook has been working for a long time to integrate all its messaging platforms.
The project aims to enable Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp users to send messages to each other.
Facebook is developing such an infrastructure so that users of any one app can connect with users of other Facebook apps.
Facebook founder Mark Kerberg says he wants to make the system end-to-end encrypted.
Combining all your popular apps will allow Facebook to hit Apple’s iMessage service directly.
Facebook bought Instagram for 1 billion dollars in 2012 and WhatsApp for 19 billion dollars in 2014.
However, the company has not yet issued a statement regarding its latest attempt to integrate Messenger and Instagram.
